Introduction of Palava City - City of Opportunity
Palava is a township in Dombivali, Thane District that is being developed as a sister city to Mumbai by the Lodha Group.
The entire project is spread over 5000 acres and will be built in four phases. The first phase consisting of 20,000 residential units has been completed and the company launched the second phase consisting of 800 buildings in January 2014.
As part of the township, the group has already built Lodha World School and a preschool, sports facilities and training academies as part of clubhouses including a cricket ground, a football field and a 9-hole golf course.
Actor Amitabh Bachchan endorses Palava as the "first citizen of Palava". Lodha Group expects to earn between Rs. 4000 crore and 4800 crore from the entire project over eight years of construction.
